
Amer Kaissi
Amer Kaissi is an-award winning Professor of Leadership. He is an executive coach that has worked with hundreds of leaders and teams all over the world. Amer is the author of five books, including “Humbitious: the power of low-ego, high-drive leadership.” His upcoming book “The Positive Intent Mindset: Exceptional Leadership Through Trust & Accountability” will be published in November of 2025.
He has been featured on the Harvard Business Review podcast and numerous other media outlets. He has spoken on leadership topics at more than 300 organizations and professional conferences. He lives in San Antonio with his wife and has two grown children in college.
Emma has a track record of building strong relationships within the community, has served on multiple boards through the years and has earned numerous community awards for her work, including Universal Health Services’ 2022 Service Excellence Award, presented to the leader of a UHS facility that has excelled in the areas of quality, safety, staff engagement, staff turnover and patient experience. In 2017 she was the recipient of the Russ McEwen Hero Award for making a difference in her community.
Montes-Ewing began her career in healthcare as a licensed physical therapist assistant and moved up the ranks to serve as hospital CEO.
She earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology, with a major in International Business and Communications, from Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, TX.
