Colonel Aristotle Vaseliades

Colonel Aristotle A. Vaseliades was born and raised in Gulfport, Florida and is a 1997 graduate of Florida 

Southern College where he was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Medical Service Corps. He 

holds a Bachelors degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from Florida Southern, a Masters Degree 

in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University, and a Masters of Strategic Studies from the United 

States Army War College. 

COL Vaseliades is currently the Chief of Staff, MEDCoE. His previous assignments include: Commander/

Capstone Course for MHS Leaders, and the Unit Movement Officer Course. 

His military awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the 

Meritorious Service Medal (6 OLC), the Army Commendation Medal (3 OLC and V Device), the Army 

Achievement Medal (3 OLC), National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on 

Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, 

Armed Forces Humanitarian Service Medal, and the overseas ribbon (5th Award). He is a member of the 

Order of Military Medical Merit and holds the Expert Field Medical Badge, the Army Staff Officer 

Identification Badge, and the German Proficiency Badge (Silver).

COL Vaseliades is a board-certified Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). 

Colonel Vaseliades is married to his wife Ann of Lafayette, California for 25-years. They have a daughter, 

Alethea (age 16), a son, Aeson (age 14), three orange cats (Cheeto, Dorito, and Frito), and 2-Golden 

Retriever (Charlie and Cooper).
