Alan A. Jones, PhD, FACHE is an Assistant Professor in the Health Administration program at the University of the Incarnate Word, bringing a rich blend of academic and real-world healthcare leadership experience to his work. A board-certified Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Dr. Jones served for over two decades as a healthcare executive and officer in the United States Army, including leadership roles in graduate medical education as Program Director for the Army-Baylor Graduate Program in Health and Business Administration. He holds a PhD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, an MHA from Baylor University, and a BA from Mississippi State University, and is committed to preparing the next generation of healthcare leaders.
